Nov. 29, 2005 Some time ago there was a discussion in UK on the value of having the trial in the World Court or in Iraq by an Iraqi Court. Today again we see an arrogant Saddam defying the Judge and the Court. Now the trial is once again delayed for reasons which would not happen in a world court. Lawyers and witnesses being killed or kidnapped is a case of terror that has not yet been controlled in Iraq. I am convinced Iraq is not ready to handle a judicial system. It may be just me, but I see A Dictator in the person of Saddam, still running and commanding things, at least in the court room. I will never understand a former USA High Profile Government Official being on the defense team of Saddam. I predict Saddam Hussein will never be convicted and will eventually rise to power again. THis is hard to invision, but is highly likely. This could happen much quicker if The Democrats have their way in seeking a pullout of American and Coalition Troops. I don't like the war, but we now must stay the course. ------------ About the author Allen Robinski: I am a Retired Government worker who now has time to express my concerns. Thanks to UK.
