Nov. 25, 2005 Somehow I managed to sneak into another one of their meetings. I guess not combing my hair and not shaving for a few days helped me get in, it just meant that I looked like everyone else. As I was walking in some punk kid in a Che t-shirt handed me a piece of paper and told me to sit down. I read the paper, turns out it was an agenda. First on the agenda helping Michael Newdow. Everyone was contributing money for his personal war, but I noticed that everyone was taking a black marker to the money first. Apparently they were blacking out the words "in God we trust". Needless to say I didn't give any money, had it been for Newdows psychiatric treatment I might have chipped in a few dollars. Next were the speakers. Same old speakers with the same old refrains. It was eerie in a way. The crowd would chant their slogans like "Bush lied, people died." or "Bush is the real terrorist" I almost broke out my crucifix and silver bullets, but then I remembered those only worked on paleocons. Most of the speakers got just polite applause. Dean went on his usual rants, and things were going pretty normal until he screamed so loud that he burst a blood vessel in his eye. He was then escorted off the stage with his aides hand feeding him his pills. He must have missed a dosage again. Senator Rockefeller got up and claimed that they had all been duped. It was funny, because I thought they were supposed to be the party of smart people while we were easily led religious fanatics. How do you explain being fooled by a man who you say is an idiot, and who used the same intelligence as the president before him? The next speaker, I don't know who it was, got up and apologized for Hillarys abscence. I guess they all knew that she couldn't associate with them until after the 2008 election. But that's not who they wanted to see anyway. They all came to see the man of the hour, Rep. Murtha. I had never heard of the ol' bugger until he turned French on us. Apparently being a hawk in the democratic party means advocating OUR unconditional surrender. They treated him like a holy person, well I guess that's a bad analogy, they don't believe in anything but higher taxes and fleeing from a fight. I listened for as long as I could stomach it. That turned out to be about 20 seconds. I decided to make my exit, after all they were starting to get suspicious of me when I wouldn't go to the microphone and denounce the U.S. as the source of all the worlds evils, and then spit on the American flag as a fascist imperialist symbol. Hopefully I won't have to infiltrate one of these meetings again, I don't think I could refrain from doing violence to their persons. ------------ About the author: Craig Chamberlain has written more than 100 articles for Useless-Knowledge.com.
