Nov. 23, 2005 There may be some good to come out of the difficulties experienced by U-K recently. The resulting shakeup has resulted in the collection and tabulation of about 10,000 articles written on U.K over the past years. I note that I am referred to as one of the earlier writers here, which is gratifying as I am still alive and kicking. The photo that appears above my pieces recently is, indeed, of me, about a year and a half ago when I retired from the military, and I think I was 62 years old in the photos. But I digress. The tabulation of articles indicates that I wrote about the Able Danger group and its detection of the 9/11 hijackers prior to 9/11, and I wrote that it’s information was ignored by the Clinton administration. A rebuttal article was written suggesting that I was, to paraphrase, a few bricks shy of a load, that Able Danger was, in fact, imaginary. Further info has come to light, however, amplifying on the suppression of Able Danger intelligence by the Clinton administration and, in fact, how that suppression of Able Danger persisted and extended into the 9/11 Commission investigations. As I had noted in prior pieces, Jamie Gorelick was a primary operative in intelligence dissemination in the Clinton White House—or more correctly, since she created the infamous “wall of separation” between criminal and intelligence investigations, she was a primary operative in hampering intelligence sharing. I still propose that her chief function was keeping the Clinton administration’s nefarious money-grubbing and secrets-sharing activities hidden under a cover of bureaucracy. But then Jamie Gorelick showed up on the 9/11 Commission! Gee, what was she doing there? Could she have been put on the commission to continue shielding the Clinton administration from blame for botching its protection of the USA? Well, yes, it appears so. Congressman Curt Weldon, though taking a lot of heat for earlier revelations about Able Danger, has continued his investigation. Approximately half of the House of Representatives has petitioned the Pentagon to allow former Able Danger members to speak out. And also it appears that it was—surprise!—Jamie Gorelick’s staffers who ignored Able Danger data and did not pass it on to the Commission’s other members. According to Rep. Weldon, it was Jamie Gorelick's senior assistant on the 9/11 Commission, Dieter Snell who interviewed Capt. Scott Philpott of Able Danger. If Rep. Weldon is correct, then I contend that my theory about Gorelick’s assignment, to suppress information harmful to Clinton, is also correct. Weldon stated: "The person who debriefed Scott Philpott, was a guy named Dieter Snell. Dieter Snell worked for Jamie Gorelick. We have to know whether or not there was a deliberate attempt by Dieter Snell not to have the 9/11 commission members know the full details of what Able Danger was doing. I can't answer that question. An investigation needs to take place.” So what we have, in summary, is a secret Pentagon counter-terrorism group that, indeed, did identify 9/11 hijackers in plenty of time to do something about them, but whose intelligence was suppressed and ignored by Clinton administration operatives—and I submit they were instructed to suppress this information to protect Clinton’s hide—and whose existence and information was further hidden from the 9/11 Commission charged with investigating our intelligence failures prior to 9/11. Now that’s a big long sentence. Read it a few times. It’s important. The cover-up of intelligence failures that occurred under Clinton is still going on. No wonder the Democrats are busy attacking Bush. It distracts from the real liar and bungler who resided in the White House prior to 2001. ------------ About the author Brooks A.
