Nov. 21, 2005 First I read the Keyes article on Dennis and then I read Dennis's article on Thomas and then I threw up. What in the world is wrong with you people? Are you so insecure that you find it necessary to rip each other's throats out to prove who has the bigger pen!s? Why can't EVERYONE write their articles on here without fear of being torn apart and thrown to the wolves? My God, grow the hell up those of you who MUST compete as if your words were printed with golden ink on rare parchment that might disintegrate at any moment. Everyone has value and worth and NO ONE has the right to sit in judgment of anyone else on here. Some people don't read the articles that I write about Natalee Holloway and that's fine with me. I don't read a lot of articles that are published on here either and that's fine too. What I DO NOT feel the need to do is rip you all a new one because I don't like what you write. I simply avoid the subjects that don't interest me and I would expect to be treated the same way. Who cares who has a higher IQ or who travels the most? Who cares if you have a gazillion books published or NONE AT ALL...If your work is interesting than build it and they will come. I only want to be entertained, amused or educated and this carping and fighting is none of the above. Writers knocking the crap out of other writers is fast becoming the theme here and it's ugly and non-productive. Just write what you want to and leave everyone else alone. I am really tired of seeing this kind of school-yard behavior and the next thing I expect to read is, "I know you are but what am I". Or..."lalalalalalala, I can't hear you". Sheesh, I left grade school a long time ago and I am thrilled to say that I don't have to deal with that childish garbage anymore at my age. At least I thought it was over until I started to read some of the absolute nonsense that's supposed to pass for creative writing. Go take some classes at your local college and make sure you include Critical Thinking among them. You will find out what a slippery slope is and how some of you are sliding, sliding up one slope and down another. You prove no points, you make no profound statements but you sure make the rest of us aware of just how wonderful you are, how brilliant you are, how high your IQ is. The problem is...who cares? None of these so-called retaliation articles have any meaning whatsoever and they are slowly filling up this other-wise worthy site full of BS. You want search engines to refer people here? Well, I do and I don't think that they will as long as this petty crap continues.
