Nov. 7, 2005 Anyone who has bothered to read one of these article knows that I am not exactly a fan of the French. So it is with mixed feelings that I keep reading the news about the riots that have gone on now for 11 days. I loathe rioters, they're simply nothing more than petty thugs who exploit an opportunity to go on a rampage, steal things, destroy property and terrorize people. Still France has no one to blame but themselves. They have allowed millions of Muslims to immigrate into the country but have made no attempt to assimilate them into France. Instead they become French citizens, but holding on even more tightly to their native(usually North African orgin). Hmmm... that reminds me of a certain country in this hemisphere that can't stop the illegals from pouring over it's southern border and make no attempts at assimilation either. Speaking of muslims though... well no one is. All the reports talk of people who are poor are the ones rioting. Yeah that's it. Decades of socialistic failure, and only now they stand up and say "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it any more." Now let's review. The rioting started when two girls, from Mauritania and Tunisia, electrcuted themselves. Before you check wikipedia both of those are Muslim nations. What the media isn't saying because it is too gutless and politically correct to say is that the rioters are muslims. You know, the followers of Mohammed, the religion of peace and love that only wants everyone to be friends and get along. That and turn the world into an islamic caliphate where all non muslims will be reduced to serfdom, but they swear their religion really is about peace. And Chiracs response? We're still waiting. Instead of being a leader.... oh who am I kidding? That man couldn't lead a troop of cub scouts on a canned food drive, let alone a country gripped in violence. I know it's been a long time, but I swear I remember reading that once upon a time France could actually defend itself. Well those days are obviously long gone. I'm sure to stop the riots Chirac will convert to Islam, impose Sharia law, and turn the Cathedral of Notre Dame into the Grand Mosque of France. The Muslims tried to take over France once, back in the dark ages, and were beaten. This time they will do it by immigration, high birth rates,with religious stupidity, cultural illiteracy, and otherwise barbarous behavior to motivate them.
