Nov. 4, 2005 The Bush Administration must be bracing for the worst. Top aids are being indicted left and right. Why? Lies and misinformation surrounding their trumped up WMD's and war with Iraq. Should Cheney and Bush be next? Can they recover or should they even try? This week Lewis "Scooter" Libby was officially indicted regarding information that he passed from Cheney, the State Department, and the CIA regarding a covert operator named Plame to the New York Times and Time Magazine back in June of 2003. Why did he feel compelled to do this? Will he be their fall guy or are more indictments to come? Recall Ollie North and the Regan debacle during the Iran Contra? Ollie fell on his sword for Regan and was ridiculed for acting alone. Despite negative press and opinions at the time, I feel that no man in that capacity acts alone nor without the express permission of those higher up the command ladder. In this instance perhaps Libby will take the bullet to protect those with more authority. Why should he? Because all persons that speak out against the Bush Dynasty and their protected clan meet suspicious ends. That said Ms. Plame is the wife of Joseph Wilson who was an Ambassador and very outspoken regarding the Bush Administrations lies regarding WMD's and the threat posed by these with Iraq. Thus Joseph Wilson had to be punished for this opposing opinion and Libby was the perfect foil. Joe Rockefeller said it best when he said that any questions that get too close to the White House regarding these lies and deception are met with silent lips. All inquiries have been thwarted. Why? I say because they must have something to hide! The Libby recipe for indictment is; 1 count obstruction of justice 2 counts perjury 2 counts making false statements Shake and serve chilled before the intelligence committee. If found guilty of all charges, Libby faces 30 years jail time and $1.2 million dollars in fines. What the Democrats want is honest answers to the following questions; 1. They want to see the intelligence data that was used by the Bush Administration in formulating their strong wording about the pre-war threat of Iraq. 2. They want to see the information handed over from Chalabi regarding the defectors and their role in the pro-war Iraqi National Congress that Cheney and the Pentagon used as a basis for this war. 3. They want to examine the intelligence activity reports from the Pentagon office of Special Plans that was wrought with misinformation regarding their pre-war intelligence data on Iraq and their connection with the AlQaida terrorist network. 4. They want to know why the pre-war intelligence data neglected to assess or predict post-war insurgency. Don't we all have a right to know why our government lied to us about the WMD's and Iraq's connection to 9/11? You bet we do!!!
