Nov. 16, 2004 Like hordes of ravenous locusts descending on the only field of wheat left standing, the liberal mainstream media has set its sites on a single Marine; a Marine who shot a terrorist. Yes. I said terrorist. I refuse to use the PC word “insurgent”. At this juncture, we do not know whether or not this was a foreign terrorist or whether or not said terrorist was waiting to strike as soon as the Marine was close enough. We have seen portions of the video and heard what was said. But, we don’t know what led up to it. However, what we and the other terrorists do know is that the US leftist media, if they remain true to form, will side with the terrorists and attack our troops. This same media has yet to let the terrorists down. When in doubt, the US leftist mainstream media attacks the United States, US troops and the Bush Administration. They attack first and worry about the facts later. The last time the MSM affected this type of behavior was just prior to the presidential election. The MSM usual suspects (most notably the NY Times and CBS) reported on 380 tons of WMDs in Iraq that our troops ‘had allowed to be stolen’. Despite the actual falsity of this claim, the MSM and Kerry campaign attempted to use it to their respective advantages. Apparently, it didn’t work. Kandidate Kerry was not elected POTUS. Now, this same grouping has decided to attack a single Marine for, very possibly, doing his job; the job he was sent to Iraq to perform so that our incomparably honorable and brave US Marines can keep the enemy “over there”. But, even the security of the country is political to the mainstream media. Despite the fact that their candidate lost (they still refuse to accept it), they are behaving as if the campaign hasn’t ended! My strong suggestion is…let’s wait. Let’s wait to see what the truth is, before we continue to vilify a soldier who volunteered to protect our country.
