Nov. 12, 2004 I may not be the most intellegent person around. Some say I live in a bubble. Others say I live with rose colored glasses. I may not know the Bible not more than the teachings that I have had or the readings of others that I have read. But it is a rose colored world full of all sorts of Beautiful and Colorful things to see, smell, hear. And I know that when I read and hear the words that are written in the Bible that there is the peace, an ultimate Peace that I am searching for. That many are avoiding for unknown reasons. I know right from wrong. I know dis respect from respect. I know that respect has to be earned and cannot just be, because you put the titles used to give those who are respected. Ok here I want respect call me President O'Very. Does that get your respect for me from you? No! I have common sense as I grew up in the 'old days' but even those of those times don't have much of it left. I don't like slinging mud but I'm afraid that that may happen here a teense. Maybe a teense more than a teense. Better late than never. uh huh. No No No. It must be now at times. LIke the times when the ones who serve our country come home. Honor them then and welcome them home then Not years or even days afterwards. I read a poem yesterday by LaBelle Rouge, on authors den of what this country did to those veterans that served, and very few acknowledged like very few acknowledged for Veterans Day on here. Not even those who post threatening messages. How crude. How rude. Who lives in a bubble here? Not but maybe 2 or 3 took the time to say one kind word or acknowledge the Veterans of the past and of the present. Will no one ever learn? These men and women who have given you the rights to write here to have your very own web sites, you are such in a bubble world that you don't even take the time and the chance that you have to say one word to them. They are dying. They are dead. They are angry. They are scared. They are there. They have been there for you who has these rights and liberties to say as you feel about the things you cannot change but only argue back and forth about. Calling each other names invading homes with your hateful and mean words of opinions, that I have no use for now. Useless knowledge. You disgust me. You embarrass me. You are a disgrace to this country. To those who have given you the rights to all that you have, and still are giving and making sure you keep them. I am sure that there are those on here that have served for this country and don't even have the decentsy to go and tell those that now fill your shoes Thank You. What? Your tour of duty is done. That's it? You did what you were supposed to? now it's someone elses turn? too bad so sad have fun Charlie Brown?! Good Luck! ?? Yesterday I was told of a man who's son is fighting for this coutry who went willingly as they all have all over this world, on his own for people like you. I call myself a coward because I can't go and lay down my life for those like those who live in the bubbles, who have no Respect or Class. But I can come and stand up for those Honorable man and women and defend them here. This man, was as one said going on and on about his boy being over there hating the war and the President for declaring war. Staying so long. His boy's life being endangered. His boy, his baby boy who all parents think should outlive them is in danger and he is scared and afraid that the next time he sees his boy will be in a flag draped coffin. His body placed in a body bag by someone else's child, or father,sister, mother over there to come home. who gave his life for you. For you all who haven't a decent bone to stop for One Moment and come out and say thank you. To acknowledge them in anyway whatsoever. The Ultimate Scarifices by others given for you for me. To give us a better life. There is another that is being shown only disrespect to Who gave His life for you, for me. Who not many say Thank You to. Who we are letting others take out of sight to be remembered for Who He is and What He did for Us. Jesus ! God has written words to guide us to comfort us to help us through this life and those of "authority" let Him fade away Not to remember Him To disgrace Him and The Father, God. By not being Brave enough to stand up for Him. Who gave His Life for You! Better late than never. Maybe sometimes huh? Maybe a card or a letter for a birthday maybe. But Not at times like these Like the Viet Nam era. Those 'lucky' enough to have lived through the battles on the foreign land there are dead inside. They may not have come home in a body bag but they are dead within. Angry and I don't blame them. Not one little bit. Their children and their minds all messed up from that thing called agent orange. They no longer feel the things that they felt before they went to war for you. They are dead have been Killed The every Beauty and Life of their souls lies dead within the shells. The horros that they live with that are in their mind's eye. The massacres and the beheadings now and then. The countrymen that don't welcome them or thank them don't support them on the days set aside especially for them. You are killing them as though and as well as if you yourself took a gun and shot them dead. They may walk and they may talk but they are dead their souls have died within. Because of those like those here that cannot stop and say one word. not reach out a hand and say Thanks and I Love You. I wrote a poem called The Silent Screams, I wrote it about the animals but it fits so many other situations in this life. like the silent screams that those over seas now and all the wars feel and scream. I wrote another one Called A Big Kitty in a Little Suit, teaching us all when to fight, The value of life. You fight for your life and not with each other for life is so precious and treasured, and Heaven is quick, with final decisions. I hope that I made you all feel very ashamed of yourselves. You are a shame. I hope that those trying to antagonise the Cuban's won't let it go any further. Know when to fight... A little thing about a silly thing like Money and the way it looks and the banks that it may go into is Not a reason to get another nation all rialed up and start another war about. They have been quite peaceful and we really need some Quiet time. We, the people around the world, need to stop and take a break to come out and quit fighting. It's been since at least, Desert Storm that we have not been at war somewhere. We Need a break!. We need some Peace and Quiet! We need Our Boys and Girls home. You, the one's enlisted are all someones child. You are Brave Men and Women. And know that there are some that think You are the Best, giving the Highest Honor that one can give to another, and I pray that God's and Jesus' Loving arms wrap around you and keep you safe and sound and in tact body soul and mind till the day that you are all home Safe and Sound, with your families once again, and enjoy all the Beauty of this Rose Colored World, that God Created for Us. I Stand and Wait for You. I Pray for You. I Salute and Honor You. I, Remember You and all that you give to me . God Bless You One and All and Keep You in His Care.
