Nov. 12, 2004 An era is coming to an end. For years this writer has been observing the duplicity among the post war generation. I served in the far east and although not connected with the US forces was subject to the endless blather regarding US Army atrocities when I arrived back in the UK. Next I took a trip behind the Iron curtain in order the visit relatives and upon return again was subject to similiar tripe, this time by those who believed in the communist paradise. I from this time onwards learned to disregard most of the media and especially my contempories who would pontificate on the false image of the USSR put out by western governments. One thing that struck me was the use of the word LIAR. First against the returning US POWs as they told of the treatment they received at the hands of their North Vietnamese captors and then more and more regading the non liberal political parties. In order to negate any such charge they themselves might incurr they charged first. The latest effort was during the last US election where Bush was the recipient of their double talk. But wait is there after all a sense of decency among the liberals. Are they commiting polititcal suicide. Same sex marriage will not play in any country in the world and still it is put forward by the liberals as an enlightened inclusive thing to do and those who oppose are suffering from a phobia.
