Nov. 12, 2004 When I heard about the outcome of the American presidential election, I couldn't help but pity or better still feel for senator John Kerry. I'm a politician too and I know what it takes to lose an election at close margin. I guess a simple message is being passed across and the message is "IT'S NOT OF HE THAT WILLETH OR HE THAT RUNNETH IT'S OF THE LORD THAT SHOWETH MERCY". Also, the RACE IS NOT TO THE SWIFT NEITHER IS THE CROWN TO THE STRONG. I believe in what God says and believe about me leaving what people believe behind. Politics is a game of two sides, it's either you win or you lose and it takes the matured to withstand any outcome of politics. Most times, what we want don't come to us because God's knows it might turn out to be our undoing. Life is all about winning and losing. I'm not in support of either KERRY or BUSH. I'm only doing what I can best do in such case since failure is an evidence that he has tried. Anybody that has not failed in life is a failure to earth. Mr Kerry, take heart and be of good courage. The best always comes to those that learn to wait. It's well. ------------ About the author Olamide Ayeni: A 21 year old female.
