May 29, 2005 After reading articles by Stan Grimes and Argile Stox, I've come to a conclusion, I'm done tryin to get my work published. I've written many short stories in my time. You see, I just have no time to sit and write a novel. I've sent my stories out to the "Big Boys" of publishing, and they all come back with the same answer. We like your work, but, it's not what we are looking for at this time. This happens time and time again, all with the same result. It's never what they are looking for. Never. Then, I investigated the POD method, and I feel very leary about that whole business. The companies I've sent inquiries to, will not leave me alone. Thank God I didn't give them my phone number, I'd never get any rest. After reading Stan and Argile, I'm convinced. I guess I wasn't put on this earth to be another Stephen King, or John Saul, (My two favorite writers) besides, I get more exposure writing for UK Mag. Maybe I'll keep sending my stories to real publishing houses
and someday get lucky, but, I won't hold my breath.
