May 17, 2005 Someone threw the Qur’an down the toilet; this is the premise of this article. It took place recently and was documented as such, and News Week, the magazine, our trusty news casting magazine, thought wise to pick up such a power hitting story, they couldn’t resist it so they ran to the Pentagon to ask permission to write it (this alone tells me if in doubt, don’t), no one said a word so the signs all read: sure go ahead. This all took place to my knowledge, on our little friendly base in Cuba. A few things come to mind: is the story news worthy? Second, is it believable, we got one witness, no more? And is the Muslim world in their right mind to be so bent, twisted and out of sorts over this, I mean they spit, rip and crap on the American flag, and desecrate the Holy Christian Church in Jerusalem. They blow up the Buddha shrines in Afghanistan, and I could go on and on, and I’m sure they threw a few bibles down the wishing well some place in the world; so why are they so upset? How about, it’s propaganda? Oh yes, they got a banquet here, or so they think. I mean, why take a normal rat and put him in the paper, go look for “Mighty Mouse,” its better news. When someone is looking that hard to shove something down your throat…, he will find it, it takes time, and good timing, and some Arab goofball found it, like some American goofball at News Week, like I get some goofballs who write me, not on my subject matter, but make it personal because they don’t know how to argue, or standup like men and face their so called difference with me, their dispute. These people I have little time for. As I will not most likely purchase News Week anymore, just out of contempt for its arrogance to try and make news out of crap like this; they have lowered themselves to the cheap news papers I see at the supermarkets. And the Arab world should be ashamed of them-selves to have fallen into such trap. Who cares if someone threw a book down the toilet, or a Bible, or the Qur’an? Do you think God sleeps? He sees it. If he wants revenge He will get it. Everyone go to sleep, we got worse issues in the world then these kids issues.
