Mar. 31, 2005 Has your name been out of the headlines? Have your fans been dying for new stuff on your life? Here is how you get your name back in the paper, play the new Hasboro game, The Publicity Game! This is not a laughing matter. Everybody in the entertainment profession crave fame. There are pros at this game: Britney Spears, Madonna, Micheal Jackson, and other celebrities that want the buying public to know their products exist. It is a good game to play but attacking the players who write about you is a bad idea. Britney Spears today on her website, www.britneyspears.com, which by the way I haunt once in a while for approved Britney News, attacks tabliod journalists. I will not quote her letter but in a few words, she is tired of The Publicity Game. The Publicity Game means getting you name out in the public eyes by any means. That means if the Tabloids are writing about you it's a good thing. It is sad that a young woman, Britney Spears, who lives her life to produce products for sale would not want that kind of publicity. She should be solid in knowing who she is as a person and not take a lot of it personally. But maybe I am wrong about my idea of what she was meaning in her writing. I am a columnist and I am writing about her... Hum... Let me think... Okay she's a pro at The Publicity Game.
