Sony's PSP

As far as portable video game systems go, I have only sampled a few, those being Nintendo's gameboy, gameboy colour, and more recently the gameboy advance. And while the gameboy colour and gameboy advance were a refreshing change from the original gameboy with its black and white, grayscale library of games, here comes Sony's addition to the game portability lineup with the PSP.

Weighing about 280g/.62 lbs, it comes with a pricetag of $250.00 and games costing about another $40.00 each plus tax, and contains a 4.3 inch widescreen that is multimedia compatible.

For it plays movies, music and games that come in a compact (UMD)Universal Media Disc that can hold up to 1.8GB of data, thus enhancing the portability factor of Sony's PSP.

In addition, the owner of the portable PSP can also connect his/her new system to their PC by way of a USB cable that has a "Mini-B' connector and a 'Standard-A' connector by simply plugging in the 'Mini-B' part of the cable into the PSP and the 'Standard-A' side into the PC to transfer photos, music and other files onto the Memory Stick Duo.

Also boasting smooth graphics and gameplay, purchasing this system will depend on the types of games you prefer to play.

As for me, I prefer Nintendo's gba's unique line up of games that include such great titles as: Golden Sun 1 and 2, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, Final Fantasy 1 & 2, The Legend Of Zelda: The Minish Cap, and a host of others, no memory stick needed.
