Mar. 26, 2005 I watch the news and trust me I know they only let us see the spin they want us to see. Terri Shaivo, the last I've seen was a human being. Now it seems that some people wish to play god. I know she needs tubes to help her eat but other then that she seems to be fine. This reminds me of a baby. Now who is to say
that a baby should starve just because it can't
feed itself? We nurse animals back to health so
why not a human being? I can't answer this.
When my father was laying in his bed and yes he
was eighty five but this day he couldn't move, it
seems that he had suffered a stroke. The family
gathered around his bedside and I walked in and
asked if he was ok. My sister said he was
dying. I asked if anyone called 911 and they all
said "no". My mother was confused in what to do
so I said "Just call 911, they will know what to
do". She had to ask the others and they all
agreed that 911 was not the answer. i then
said "But it was the law, the obligation of the
family, the right thing to do". I then walked
over and called 911. They came and low and
behold the family talked the paramedics into not
taking him. "He wanted to die at home" I was told
by a member of the family. I said "yes, but
maybe they could do something". They all fought
me tooth and nail so you see I have a feeling
that if we do not feed this poor soul we know she
will die. If we do she lives. I think we should
do everything to save this human being and no man
woman or child should decide fate of any
other.
After all was said and done my father was buried
the next day and I went on my merry way. My
sister is taking a long vacation to another
country and my brother will probabaly get all the
property.
You see folks, motive should never be the reason
for a needless death. No matter how we feel we
should always do everything in our power to save
a life. I am free typing this thing so overlook
the typos please. I thank you and remember
always take good care of the one 's you love
because if it up to others you are a dead human
being.
