Mar. 24, 2005 According to CNN, Congressman DeLay told a group of his constituents that God brought Terri Schiavo to the Republican Party so Americans can see what kind of shape our country is in. He wants Americans to see just what this country has come to, starving a disabled woman to death. Isn’t it amazing what God can do? He has given the Republicans (whom he favors greatly of course) Terri Schiavo. What arrogance and hypocrisy spews from that declaration. God’s timeliness is amazing. It just so happens that He brought Terri just as the good Congressman is about to get his butt caught in a bees’ nest. Apparently, God is trying to protect Tom from possible repercussions of his recent scandalous behavior in his misuse of a tax-exempt charitable organization. I hope he’s praying to the Big Guy tonight. He should be wining and dining Terri’s parents for giving birth to their tragic-tossed daughter. Has Congressman DeLay told Terri’s parents about his gift of a mother lode from heaven? My, my, my, there are many things being politicized in this world today (way too many things), but a woman’s life? Is Mr. DeLay trying to place blame on Liberals for Terri’s situation, or Democrats? If I read the paper correctly and saw the reports on CNN correctly, it was a bipartisan effort to get Terri’s bill passed through the Congress and the Senate. How has this become a partisan political circus? If Terri understood the kind of bull…. that’s being slung around Washington D.C., she would probably want to pull the wig off of God’s chosen one, Mr. DeLay. I’m sure that Congressman DeLay probably doesn’t take the time out of his busy and most righteous life to read Useless-Knowledge, but if he did,…I’d like to say something to him. The trouble is I can’t say such things on a family- oriented site, but I will say this much, “admit your ignorance and your illegal behavior.” No one brought Terri Schiavo to the Republican Party except for Terri’s parents and their attorneys. If there was a supernatural being, I doubt if he would recognize Tom DeLay, the Republican Party, the Democratic Party, or any other politician. After all, isn’t He defined as a super smart guy or something?
Politics and real life have nothing to
do with each other. Politicians live in a
reality of their own. They have no clue about
poverty, living from payday to payday, or
kicking mud off their shoes. To them, life is
about whom they need to sleep with in order to
get reelected to their cushion jobs for another
four years. The difference between a real
person and a politician is this, a real person
has five fingers on each hand and a politician
has as many as it takes.
