Mar. 8, 2005 And so as I sit and read the newspaper, I sit with my mouth agape again! Another pedophiliac is released, knowingly NOT cured. Having served MOST of his time,the cell he occupied... the cell that kept him safely locked away from our children was needed for a more hardened criminal. How much more hardened do they come than a man that was found guilty of rapeing... and yes, I used the Proper wording. The term molesting seems to somehow lessen the sting that is the true act committed. A man guilty of rapeing four children including one of his own nieces. I am afraid to know what the man that took his jail cell did to make him worse than this abomination. Brought before a judge by concerned citizens, he was petitioned to Not be allowed to move back into the very community that he left scarred a very short five years ealier. Petitioned by good, God fearing, hard working families that wanted to not live in fear for their children's safety again. Brought before a judge that looked these families directly in the eye and told them he was a free man. He had the same rights as they did once again. He would in fact be allowed to reside in the very same house that he Raped their children in not so very long ago! The man was "tormented" and verbally "abused" to the point that he feared for his life. He went back to the same judge and was afforded a police drive-by every two hours until the "abuse" stopped. Two men and two women were arrested for attacking this man who was seen talking to a young boy in the neighborhood. Is my vision distorted terribly or is there truly something wrong with this entire picture?!!!!! Am I seeing things right when I say the men and women should have received awards for their contribution to their nieghborhood? I say, if a pedophile is to be released then he should be given a house next to the judge that released it on the streets again. Move him in and ask the judge to invite him over for dinner. Don't hide your kids your honor, this man is alright to be with good people, remember?!!! He has the same rights as you and I do. A free man, free to take the judges daughters hand or his sons hand and lead him to a basement full of cookies. Cookies and something that will stay with that innocent child for the REST OF THIER LIVES!! And if someone attacks this "man?" to rescue one of your children, your honor, toss his sorry butt in jail for violating this pedophiles rights!!!! Our children are given to us as a gift from heaven. A gift that we are to watch over and keep safe as best we can. Precious innocence that we have been blessed to love and be loved back as we watch over them as they grow. We could do that a lot more efficiently if you could kindly, with all due respect, your honors... remember whose rights were truly violated. Remember the children that will never forget. If you want to feel giving and free these creatures that stalk our children, then please... Give them to Your neighborhood and if there is a reason you would prefer Not to do that, then don't subject our families to something you yourselves would not do.They can't be cured and they Will repeat the offense again!
