June 28, 2005 I remember when women on the adverts wanted to give up Tom Cruise for their mum's roast lamb. He was the hottest hunk this side of Jesus. My dad when he wanted a cheap laugh from the checkout chick at coles would refer to himself as Tom Cruise. But now however he refers to him as a complete lunatic ( I wont use the real word he says, but he is an Aussie you can imagine). Well we saw him on Oprah, and I must admit I found him funny. The first thing that popped into my head was "major midlife crisis". If Don Johnston hadn't already made it popular he would be seen wearing a white sports jacket, jeans and runners. He has made a complete fool of himself. Who would honestly be seen dead talking to Oprah the talk show queen, worthy of all admiration and worship and then jump on her couch? Well Tom did, and didn't that set up a stir of jokes and laughter. I was reading an article on here and one of the writers stated that he felt Tom needed Ritlin or a bong, I agree wholeheartedly. The man has lost it completely. He is not a good spokesperson to have for scientology because with his behaviour I'm looking at the religion and thinking maybe it isn't as drug free as he is making it out to be. Tom relax, calm down, we all know your happy about getting married to a gorgeous young woman, who no doubt when she gets more famous than yourself you will dump to find some other young and up coming star. We all get passionate about topics but I don't believe your right in berating Brooke Shield's decision to take medication for an illness that could have put her own life and child's life in danger. As Post Natal Depression, is not something that you just get over. I agree only on one point you have made and that medication is just a mask that it takes more, but Tom I suggest go and find out some facts about the illnesses in which you are talking about before getting so hot headed on television for people with such illnesses to see and feel guilty about. You see what you have done is made those that admired you and appreciated your opinion feel guilty about having an ailment and being on the medication, getting help, getting better. You are a fool. You have taken your fame and allowed it to blow you out of proportion. You are still just a man, nothing more. We see you on movies and you are worth alot of money, but under all that you still are made up of the same things that each of us are made of. You still can be attacked by the ailments that many of us suffer from. And obviously midlife crisis didn't avoid you because darl your right in the middle of one. But don't worry, old men, with young women on their arms, driving fast sports car might be sexy, to my nana. ------------ Email Samantha King: kingy351@bigpond.net.au Tell a friend about this site! ------------ All articles are EXCLUSIVE to Useless-Knowledge.com.
