And Now, In the Spirit Of Grand Debate

By Michael John McCrae
June 27, 2005

Thomas Keyes’ solution for the problem with gay ministers would work well for the useless-knowledge.com problem with atheists.

I see Billy Graham is conducting what is being billed “His Last Crusade”. One thing about Billy’s Crusades; they are not bloodless. Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin. Billy Graham is a reminder that Jesus’ blood is the blood that counts.

I was watching the replay of Senator Ted (the killer) Kennedy trying to dress down Donald Rumsfeld. I kept wondering if there would ever be a question amid the entire general harangue he was spewing about “quagmires” and such. When Teddy finally got to his question about Rumsfeld’s resignation, he already knew the answer. The President is not going to let Rumsfeld sacrifice himself to make Kennedy and the other liberal pukes calling for American retreat in the face of the enemy happy. Now, Rumsfeld might be permitted to resign after the resignations of Kennedy, Kerry, Clinton, Pelosi, Durbin, Biden, Schumer, Frank, Conyers, Rangle and let that list just go on like Kennedy’s rant about resignation. Teddy (the killer) Kennedy has to take the liberal stick out of his butt and stop drinking away what’s left of his alcohol preserved cranium.

You don’t think that last comment will cause a debate; do you?

Some Roses are red.

And I admire Fred Smith’s continual attempts to pick a debate. Not only doesn’t he fully quote me, he takes me out of context and then completely absolves humanistic atheists and free-thinking psycho-babblers from all the single parent statistics cited in one of my columns. All of that based on one sentence in which he questions three words that I used. If you are at all interested in that you can look at his “Humanist Bashing” column; where you’ll read:

“Further, I doubt we have enough data to get any meaningful statistics for the 'other' side; last I checked, about 10% of Americans were in the free-thinker group, including agnostics, atheists, etc. Secular humanists adhere to a certain philosophy. Many more folks think secularism is the way to go, but aren't humanists. Many smart Christians are secularists, and to complicate matters more, not all atheists are humanists, and not all humanists are atheists.”

So again, this proves my point. Pure, Free-thinking, psycho-babbler, atheistic types like Fred are such a small percentage of the overall population of the United States that they can be completely ignored as simply a fringe group of wild and whacky extremists, much like the French!

Ooh! Was that sarcasm?

Why, yes it was. I apologize, using the template of Dick Durbin, to anyone whose feelings may have been hurt by my sarcastic response to Mr. Fred Smith’s assertion that all atheism is grand while all Christianity is evil.

In the Atheistic Half-Truth of the Week Category Mr. Smith wrote: “Arrogant atheists such as myself want to let everyone believe what they will, provided none of us step on each other's toes.”

Mr. Smith is “arrogant” he even emphasized that with italics and I heartily appreciate that. But Mr. Smith will not allow me to believe what I want to believe. He wants everything I believe to be trashed and disregarded simply because what I believe steps on his precious toes.

He is so blinded by his various hatreds he does not see that I agree that religion and government do not mix. He totally and completely ignores the fact that faith is completely an individual exercise. Faith in God and eternal salvation is not gained through any religious exercise; nor is it gleaned by creating any sort of theocracy.

I don’t know when these pea-brained idiot sons of Democrats are going to start reading English and get the point.

The point is God doesn’t care about America, Russia, France, or any place. He cares for the individual. He saves the individual. He blesses and secures the individual. “Whosoever Believes” leaves no one out of the equation and to suggest God does not offer salvation to everyone is a lie that gets people forever dead.

Finally, taking a page from Mr. Smith’s template; in the spirit of free-thinking, atheistic, liberal democratic left-wing so-called Christian religionists; as your leader Howard Dean or Dick Durbin might say: “I hate you.” “None of you have ever done an honest day’s work in your life.” “You are all socialistic Nazis.” Have a nice day.

Ooh! Was that some of that nasty old sarcasm again?

Why yes, indeed it was.
