June 21, 2005 I wonder if anyone at the WWE-World Wrestling Entertainment-realizes that their programming sucks? Quite frankly, I didn’t see the ECW One Night Stand, but after hearing about it I will be BUYING the DVD on the 28th of this month. It’s pretty bad when WWE has to turn to another company that has been dead for years, revive it, bring out a pay-per-view, and get a bigger reaction from the fans for ECW than your OWN programming. That is sad, Vince. While on the subject that Vince McMahon needs to take an intelligence class, let’s look at how his company has been treating the fans lately; remember, Vince has ALWAYS said that he gives what the fans want. Recently in an open letter to Vince McMahon, an angry fan was raped and robbed of his freedom of speech rights while attending a RAW show in Birmingham, Alabama. The angry fan had signs, like any other wrestling venue, of expressing their feelings towards wrestlers or towards anything else. John Cena, a babyface, which is jargon for a "good guy", was apparently not one of the angry fan’s’ favorite wrestlers, because God forbid if anyone would hate the good guy. The angry fan expressed his disliking for John Cena and expressed it by making a sign. The WWE bouncers with the RAW polo shirts on and bad attitudes decided to take the signs and rip them up. The angry fan decided to write Vince McMahon a letter informing him about this, and that he can "screw himself and the WWE." Personally, I don’t blame him. Vince, you’re an idiot, you’re not a genius you’re an idiot. If that wasn’t enough to anger the fans, including myself, consider the Lita and Edge wedding. If you love wrestling you know about the Lita, Edge, and Matt Hardy situation. Every Monday night, fans would chant for Matt’s name, even Vince McMahon’s bouncers can’t block the people’s voices. During another BORING wedding segment where Lita, the slut, looked even more slutty than ever, came out and was going to marry Edge. As anyone would guess, or so they thought, by the time the preacher said, "if there is anyone that would object, blah blah blah" finally, out of nowhere, Matt Hardy’s music comes on, and it literally made me jump out of my seat. The fans were so loud that I couldn’t hear what JR and King were saying. But alas, no Matt Hardy, and instead Adam "Edge" Copeland and Amy "Lita" Dumbass, err, I mean Dumas, were in the ring laughing with a swarm of hisses and boos directed towards them. To me, it was Vince McMahon’s way of telling the fans, "You’re all puppets, and I am the puppet master." Maybe he’s right, because for once I was thinking, "Wow, Vince got it right for once." But I should have known, after all, Vince McMahon is a moron. Do the fans want to see Kane and Edge? NO! They want Matt Hardy vs. Adam Copeland, that’s what they want, but we’ll never see it, just like the segment with Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart, remember the midget Bret Hart? Talk about a joke. Don’t be fooled by what Vince McMahon says, it’s all propaganda and lies. Vince saying he cares about what the fans want? Blasphemy! Vince says that he knows what the fans want? Bulls**t! Let me enlighten you, Mr. McMahon on what the WWE has to offer, and what the fans, like myself want. 1). Freedom of Speech - in other words, don’t force us to like or dislike the wrestlers. Remember Steve Austin? He was a badguy, yet we cheered for him. Go back to basics, let the fans, not the wrestlers or writers dictate your company. 2). Seeing is Believing - while it may be impossible, it is a sign. Confused yet? Okay, Matt Hardy has obviously moved on, BUT, Vince can profit from this, as well as Matt. Matt’s popularity has skyrocketed, why not capitalize on it while the feud is still hot? It’s too late now, but you could have had something there, Vince, don’t screw up, if you see a good feud going, attack it. 3). Enough with guys who can’t sell - First off, Vince, I know HHH is family, but as far as business, the man can’t attract flies to s**t. Did anyone see how the fans reacted when Chris Masters came out? THEY WERE LITERALLY READING NEWSPAPERS!!! Okay, Vince, no one can’t break out of the old Master Lock, a move perfected in the 19th century, great, wonderful, MOVE ON! 4). NO MORE DIVA SEARCHES! - I don’t know why Vince insists in bringing in slut after slut after slut with these diva searches. Yes, such talent to show off your breasts, @$$, and your ability to suck a ****. I thought this was wrestling? If I wanted to see big breasted sluts, I’ll go to a strip club or watch a porno. 5). Never underestimate the fans - Vince, you may NEVER read this column, but in case you do, heave my warning. Did Raw really sell out? Did Smackdown? Or is it a bunch of nonsense? Vince, your programming sucks. You may think that us fans are a dime a dozen, but, there is always someone out there that will have the chance to put your precious WWE out of business. No, I’m not talking about the government, or TNA, or ECW. But the fans. If the fans wanted to, they will reach that breaking point to where your company will go belly-up. You can spend billions and billions of dollars on programming, but it’s hard to sell something that no one wants. Vince, face it, you’re an idiot.
