June 20, 2005 I'm taking a break from my series of articles about Jennifer Wilbanks to tackle a more serious subject: Tom Cruise gets squirted with a water gun. Tom Cruise who's been all over the news recently, was outside a movie theatre in London, when a fake reporter squirted him in the face with a water gun disguised as a microphone. This prank was easy to carry out because no actor can resist a microphone or a camera. Tom Cruise thought that he could take this opportunity to once again talk about how much he loves Katie Holmes, but instead he was doused with water. Tom Cruise, engaged to an actress young enough to be his daughter, has been acting like a little kid, jumping on a sofa, on national TV, to demonstrate his love for his child bride. I think it's appropriate that he was a victim of a childish prank, maybe this will calm down his childish exuberance. Tom Cruise reacted angrily, calling the prankster a "jerk" while holding his hand and staring at him sternly in the face. Police detained the man who squirted Cruise.
