July 30, 2005 According to a Reuters report pilgrims are gathering at a small town in Bosnia to ogle an image of Jesus Christ that magically appeared in a cut tree branch. These religious idiots have been prostrating before the image of Christ, fervently praying and leaving their hard-earned money behind. If these nuts had any sense, they would grab the tree branch with the image of Jesus and sell it on eBay. The image cannot be seen from a close distance, but only from several yards away. This is a good metaphor for the foolishness of religion, if you examine any religion closely you won't see God, but if you step away and rely on faith, then you will see the Supreme Being. People who are desperate to find meaning in their lives, will find Jesus in a Bible, in a transcendent experience, or in a cut tree branch.
