July 27, 2005 Many people say, "God is Love." The rhymes of Mother Goose express the silliness of lovers in foreplay and silly mothers with their silly tots. Love Ananda, the spiritual master who became known as Adi Da the Avatar of our age, is also known by some for his crazy silliness and his physical playfulness with nubile young women. Indeed, Leonardo da Vinci was even conceived out of wedlock in a climax after silly foreplay. Later, Leonardo himself produced some ideas which seemed silly to people. The integration of serious and silly produces humor. The joke master is serious in his or her presentation and leads the student on for a time. Surprise is produced as the joke master magically does or says the unexpected. A gaiety results. The tricked tiger falls through the trap into a pit to be skewered by ten poisoned spears. At the beginning a good speaker counts his audience with a humorous story. This hooks the audience. After being surprised by some trick, people pay more attention to the serious part of the speech. It is like Jesus. After Jesus had worked some strong magic, people paid lots of attention to Him. Creativity is expressed in Mother Goose and in Leonardo da Vinci's works. The secret is the integration of serious and silly. The good problem-solver is a subtle clown. He can be popular with little boys and girls. God is in his radiant presence. Atheists are foolish in the sense that they are too serious. They don't get the point that a Godman is a joker. The genius also gets funny or crazy ideas. The old myth of "Creator of everything" or "Pankrator" is exemplified by the genius who produces novel objects and ideas some of which seem silly to people. But you see, this is the point: Mother Goose and Leonardo are expressions of mother love and silly brain activity integrated with sane brain activity. The healthy tot is not afraid of brain integration. And hey. Brain integration is important business. The most difficult problems are solved by integrated brains. There is now a testable theory of improving brain functioning which makes little people feel happy and silly. Little people are still young enough and free enough to grow their brains in the way a genius brain grows. This is the theory. The theory needs to be tested by more persons under the supervision of older people who are curious about whether this theory "tests out" or not. As products of this theory, the works of its originator will be reviewed. Hopefully the reviewers won't be expecting totally serious works. If the critics keep on expecting totally serious works, they just didn't get the point. ------------ About the author: John L.
