July 14, 2005 Mr. Nicholas Olson claims to be a Collage News Reporter, A Military News Reporter, yet he admits he’s no longer in the military and probably not in college. Which is it Mr. Olson? Mr. Olson’s [Dick Durbin style] comments, [What do you know about Iraq] need some clarification. The terrorist atrocities committed in Iraq are undisputed. It’s treasonous for anyone to suggest or accuse the American Army of such atrocities. I live a few miles from the largest community of Caldeans and Iraqis out side of Baghdad. Even today, these people are reluctant to discuss Iraq in fear of the Bathist Party members still left in the Iraqi communities. His Iraqi friend pouring out his sole to Mr. Olson is highly unlikely. I have a friend who owns a Party Store, his partner and brother-in-law were cut in small pieces and feed to Udah’s [Saddam’s son] dogs. My friend and his family were sent to Jordon in a Taxi, he was required to pay for himself. His three hotels were confiscated and given to one of Saddam’s henchmen. I will not comment further on Mr. Olson’s article only to say he’s lying. He may have an Iraqi friend. I can assure you his friend isn’t telling him these stories he wrote about. Iraqis are careful discussing politics out side their own families. It’s not the Americans tearing up Iraq it’s the terrorists and their supporters like Mr. Olson. Evil has no core values. People who support evil have no core values. People who promote evil have no core values. This makes us wonder what core values Mr. Kicholas Olson’s has? A better title for Mr. Olson’s article would have been “I know a hundred ways I can sound stupid”. ------------ About the author: Ken Hughes is prone to an occasional grammatical error and an occasional misspelled word.
