July 7, 2005 My observation of Kevin Garrity’s observation of Dennis Siluk’s advice to Thomas Keyes who gave advice to someone who never wanted advice until the advice was given to a circular advice monitor, who in turn spread his advice about whatever advice was necessary to advise. That given, there is no advice better than advice that somehow ended up in text form on Useless-Knowledge.com, but is that advisable? To ask whether something is advisable is to commit one’s self to a world full of advice, but no action for that advice. Advice, then, becomes and inactive word with little meaning unless of course it comes from observations of the inadvisable of those in need advice. Am I making myself clear? If I have made myself clear, my advice to you is to turn your computer off and go to bed, or watch “a queer eye for a straight guy.” Personally, I try to get advice from the chief advisor living in the same home as I…my wife. When she is particularly short on advice, which occasionally does happen, I seek advice from second in command…my dog. Nina, my dog, only licks my face, which is a clear observation of nonverbal advice. Nonverbal advice is much more effective in a sense than verbal advice, why? Great question, I’ll ask my dog.
Are we clear?
