Jan. 31, 2005 According to the education watchdog in Britain Muslim schools are better at teaching tolerance than evangelical Christian schools. While most liberals and atheists would readily agree with that statement, even as the muslims prepare to kill them for being unbelievers, I think someone got their numbers wrong. Inspectors from the Office for Standards in Education rated 42.5% of private evangelical schools as failing to "help pupils learn to respect other cultures and promote 'tolerance and harmony' compared to 36% of muslim schools." Funny I always thought that the job of a schools was teaching things like reading, writing, math, you know academic subjects. I never saw a textbook on tolerance, unless you count those social studies books that read like they came right off the presses from the ACLU. I don't know what "objective" standards they used in their survey, but after rating muslim schools as failing, they had to rate Christian schools as worse or face the wrath of some guy named Mustafa. So I think we can look at this and find out the truth. We have words and actions. Let's start with words first. "I will instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers, smite ye above their necks and smite all thier finger tips off them"(8:12) "Allah gurantees that he will admit the Mujahid in his cause into paradise if he is killed, otherwise he will return him home safely with rewards and war booty." (Al Bukhari, Vloume 4 Book 52, Number 46) I guess Bukhari never heard of Guantanamo Bay. That doesn't include all the verses about the stupidity of women, killing people who leave Islam, and the instructions on beating youe wife. "If ye love me keep my commandments"(John 14:15) "Love one Another" Love thy neighbor as thyself, love the lord thy God with all thy heart, mind and strength." "Whosoever is angry with his brother shall be in danger of the judgement: abd whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of council: but whosoever shall say thou fool, shall be in danger of hellfire."(Matthew 5:22) Christ said come follow me. Mohammed ordered men to kill. I think that says volumes. It isn't the Christians that fly planes into skyscrapers, it isn't Christians who blow themselves up, it isn't Christians kidnap aid workers and cut their heads off. So, no matter how peaceful Christians are they are deemed to be Nazis because they have the audacity to actually believe in their religion. I always thought tolerance is measured in what you did. Believing that salvation is only through Christ, doesn't make you intolerant. Why lash out at the Christians? Obviously they are a safer target. But does it solve any problem?
