Jan. 29, 2005 Just as the amoebae split into a multi-celled creature that became a fish that became a lizard that became a monkey etc… etc… blah…. blah… blah; so Ted Kennedy came out of the primordial ooze of Chappaquiddick and evolved into an unrepentant, scumbag killer of innocent young women. From that auspicious beginning, Ted Kennedy further evolved into a lying mouthpiece for liberalist causes and a staunch anti-war (but pro- soldier?) ideologue. He voted for the war before he voiced against it. This back-stabbing political partisan stole acclaim from the nation early in the Bush Administration by feigning his care for seniors and public education. He pushed hard to help the President get the “No Child left Behind Act” passed and to get the overblown Medicare entitlements for seniors even more overblown. Then he went on his hypocritical pogrom to decry those same programs for not having enough funds, while ensuring the NEA was able to skim large chunks of cash away from education and block the implementation of the accountability sections of the NCLB. The interesting thing is that the Education Secretary, Rod Paige called the NEA a “terrorist organization”. An organization, by the way, that Ted Kennedy fully supports. This leads us to the next leap in the evolution of a liberal democrat politician. From slime, to killer, to liberal ideologue, to supporter of America’s enemies; Ted Kennedy is now calling for retreat in the face in the enemy. This is nothing less than abject cowardice. Ted Kennedy is supporting, by his words and by his actions, all the goals of terrorism. He is leading the recent attacks against the administration’s attempts to orchestrate a working government. He is leading every possible charge in the obstructionism of governmental procedure. He is doing all of that from a mindset placed squarely in the world of the past. It is understood that enough alcohol in the human body will destroy brain cells. If enough brain cells are destroyed the mind will revert back to the memories of the past; sometimes, so far back that the person will revert to their whiney, immature, 10-year-old, Baby-isms. Well, Ted Kennedy only gets that far back about three times a month. Lately, he’s just been stuck in the 1960’s and 70’s during the period the government refused to allow the military a victory in Vietnam and refused to authorize any extra support for the South Vietnamese army; permitting the North an almost unopposed victory against the forces of democracy. The American government “surrendered” on behalf of the army that could have won the fight with proper support. Well, hey! Guess what? Old Teddy is leading another government charge to dessert the government of Iraq, just as it is on the verge of a historical victory. The basis of his argument is the same basis his crew used during the Vietnam conflict. In fact, how many times will Kennedy call Iraq “Bush’s Vietnam”? What will Ted Kennedy “morph” into next? There’s been a lot of this liberal “evolution” going on. Recent speeches by Madam Hillary have clearly shown a penchant for evolution as she espouses the virtues of lowering pregnancy rates to lower rates of abortion; call for more support of “faith-based” initiatives; and voice support for Bush’s selection for Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice. Teddy is the one to watch though. As the elder statesman of the liberal cause, his voice is the one from which the incessant prattle of idiocy will call to arms the idealists of socialism and total government control of individual freedom.
