Jan. 28, 2005 I finished two books this week. “Hillary’s Scheme” by Carl Limbacher, is a book that was completed prior to the 2004 election and contained a bit of speculation about draft petitions and the like. Hillary Clinton really did not want to wait, but the polls just never became favorable enough for her to stab the State of New York in the back. I think everyone knows by now that she will wait until after the 2006 election to do that. I expected a “behind the scenes” look at the Clinton plans to re-acquire the “House of the Rising Funds” (that’s my pun). I read all that and more. Ms. Clinton is really a not nice person. How she manages to keep her head on while switching her two faces so fast is really a magician’s trick of the highest caliber. Having lived through all of that as an active duty soldier, there were no new revelations. There were several incidents the book does discuss that were never reported by mainstream sources and the alternate press either missed or completely ignored. So overall, the book was a good read. If you want more ammunition (like anyone needs any) Then “Scheme” will give you a few extra anti- Clinton talking points. “Dereliction of Duty” by LTC (Ret) “Buzz” Patterson, is a book that will anger you. That is if you can be angered at a President who cared so little for National Security. This eyewitness account (and I know how much you liberals value those) explains why we lost the World Trade Center on September 11th 2001, and why Usama bin Butthead is still banging his head on cave ceilings instead of American jail cell walls. It is also a major explanation as to why there are so many armchair generals out there screaming about lack of body armor, lack of technological advances in the military, poor morale among the deployed and not enough troops to do the job. It all boils down to one jug head, and his name is Willie Jeff (Bill Clinton). Mr. Patterson writes from the perspective of a soldier who participated in most of the larger deployments of American troops from the time of the Granada invasion, through the incursions into Kosovo and Bosnia. He also participated in the Somalia and Rwanda relief efforts. He carried the “nuclear football” for President Clinton for two years. He also (maybe) carried the Rose Law Firm records for Madam Hillary on occasion. (Or was that the missing FBI files?) Well, you have to read the book. It is a quick read and a very sensible presentation dealing strictly with the duties of Commander in Chief that were chiefly neglected by Mr. Clinton. In reading, it seemed that there were many more important things past the destruction of two embassies, a damaged naval vessel with deaths of crewmen, the dragging of American soldier’s bodies through the streets of a Somalia city, and a severe assault against the World Trade center that injured more than 1000 people and killed several more on America’s streets. It is amazing that the first reaction of the liberal side of the government was despair that 9/11 had not happened on Clinton’s watch. I thank God every day that we had a President in office that decided immediately to not let terrorism get away with another one. That is what “Dereliction of Duty” will explain and elaborate on; how the more important things got in the way of justice against America’s enemies and how a President that misused both his military and his intelligence resources; basically destroyed both institutions through his indifference and indecision. I’m not sure you find either of these books in the Clinton Library. ------------ About the Author: Michael John McCrae, husband to Linda for 30 years (and counting); Dad to Susan, Thomas, Timothy, David and Benjamin; Granddad (Guy) to Justin and Megan; has contributed over 300 articles to Useless-Knowledge.com.
