Gamblers And Football Fans [Betting On The Super Bowl]

Only 9 days until the Super Bowl and fans everywhere are asking the same question—who will cover the spread? As a long time gambler and football junkie, I feel confident in supplying the answer for you. Bet the house, furniture and your dog on the New England Patriots. They will go down as one of the greatest teams in the history of the game. I do not say this as an irrational fan (I don’t really like the Pats) but as an observer of the game. Here are a few of the myriad reasons the Pats will destroy the Eagles.

1. The Pats held the best offense in the history of the game (Colts) to 3 points.

2. The Pats rolled a 41 on the best defense in football this year, the Steelers.

3. The Eagles will be without, arguably, the best receiver in the game, Terrell Owens.

4. The Eagles will be without one of the best tight ends in the game, Chad Lewis.

5. The Eagles have the WORST wide receivers in football.

6. After 3 straight losses in the NFC Championship Game, the Eagles finally won this year—that was their Superbowl.

7. Always lean toward experience. This is the Pats third Superbowl in four years.

8. The last time the Eagles played in a Superbowl (1981) bell-bottoms were “in.”

9. Tom Brady (the Pats QB) is the greatest 4th quarter QB since Joe Montana.

10. The Pats do NOT miss tackles, unlike the falcons.

Not only have I given you a terrific way to pick up a little cash on February 6th, I will now give you the final score: Pats 38—Eagles 13.

So get your bet down early, before the spread goes up.
