Infinity As Incomprehensible

By Werner Reyneke
Jan. 9, 2005

-Besides the things I love, them rest is infinite in senseless continuity. Neither finitely, not infinitely does anything make sense. -

There can be no final definition to anything: the definition of the particular definition as subject can always be queried. Therefore there is no Existence, Being or Universe as such, as that would imply a definition and consequently a finite form - nothing is finite, because the finite will be suspended in a void unsupported - anything designated as finite undermines that instance in concept because a finite entity has borders by implication and something needs to be beyond those borders. Thus the so-called finite is merely a continuation in infinity. Moreover, infinity or eternity is not composed of laws of behaviour or character or substantiated by a single law per se. A law implies an entity which is impossible because an entity is finite and the finite is continuation in infinity - continuation or infinity is thus devoid of any rules or laws because it merely stretches on into infinity. Infinity is at most infinitely chaotic, devoid of any order whatsoever, but only appears orderly to intelligence because intelligence itself is in the same state of infinite chaos - like an insane person who experiences order within his chaotic consciousness, so does intelligence experience order within chaos because it is chaos itself. It is not method in the madness, but madness in the method! Computation and maximum proper does not exist as it implies a finite entity or entities - there is nothing to calculate or to process in order to manifest existence because infinity is mere continuity - it merely IS - Being is empty, without real content; it is infinitely static, solid continuity of IS, eluding intelligence, comprehension and possibility.

Infinity is thus without any definition and infinitely inexplicable and incomprehensible, it escapes all designation of and as subject and object, as well as designation proper. Absolute is not, infinity is.
