Feb. 27, 2005 I find myself sitting here, pondering the statements made in "Jesus caught in another lie". It quickly brings to mind the verse in a song saying "I swear there ain't no heaven and I pray there ain't no Hell..." The words I read in the article suprised me. Supposedly coming from a scholar of sorts, they do not depict that to me. I have studied in depth and seen with my eyes the works of the bible. You can easily toss off anything you read and justify doing so as easily. However, if you read the words as they were written... spiritually, then you see the meanings of each verse. A study of the numbers brings about the fact that each event had a meaning with it's numbers. Just for example... the number 3 in any set. Three temptations, Gideons three- hundred, jesus crucified at 33 years old... All being a finished and complete works... 4 being a number of testing 40 days and 40 nights of floods 400 years in bondage for the Isrealites Moses wandered throughout the desert for 40 years...Each a test of endurance and faith. So to bring us back to the mountain... Satan was offering jesus the world meaning the flesh of man. He was offering him every fleshly works man could conceive. Seeing the kingdoms from the mountain top was a type and shadow of the earthly things Jesus could have. He said we shall serve God. Therefore he was showing us that he knew that to be a part of those kingdoms.He would be as we are, a servent to and a king over nothing more than that which would pass away one day as all things must. The bible was inspired by God and shows us the history of our existance. We are no farther along than when the Isrealites were in captivity for 400 years. We still must bow down and serve our task masters. If we do not, then we will be killed just as they were. We serve a master here on earth just as they did. Call it Babylon or the government or whatever you choose to call it... It is still a master who knows everything we do and when we do it that we serve. I end this as I started it. You may swear that there is no heaven, nor a God. But you had better be praying that there is no HELL. Because he says that the reprobate mind will be consimed by the fires of hell. Those that are an abomination unto my father, shall perish.
