Feb. 10, 2005 People who keep trying to convert people to their beliefs, atheist or god believer, better look at what they believe in first. A person trying to convert other people, does not seem sure of themselves. They need validation that the belief is true. One man can not know the truth alone. Is that a simple statement? No, maybe not. But in a belief, in god or no god, that is one man's decision. Some doubt that god exists, they look for proof of his existance. Some believe he does exist, and also seek proof of that existance. Both use evidence from outside sources. One side uses science, the other side uses ancient texts, that have a great literary value and were "inspired" by god. Did god write the texts? No man wrote them, not god. Man writes, one can say it was inspired by god, but there seems to be a lot of arrogance and ignorance written in the texts. And would God be either of that, if he is all loving, all knowing and here all the time? Here is a source that is not used much by either side. The human existance. We exist. Simple. How do we exist? By a bunch of genetic cells that come together and grow. Where does that spark come from, that starts the growth? Simple again. Nothing exists without something to create it, so there is a creator, if it is god or some else who knows. But a person has to come to that decision on there own. Yes, it is easier to fall back on, "So and so knows so, I must know too. And he must be right," with the god arguments. That is how man learns by trying to understand what others have learned, then builds on that information. On the god question, though no one really knows of his existance. Only a true beleiver understands this. A true believer knows that trying to convert other people to their point of view is useless. So, the people trying to convert other people to their beliefs, that god exists or does not exist, is weak in their ideas and faith. That is why each party in the argument needs to take a step back and think, about what they are doing. Maybe they will come to the same conclusion. It is gods responsibility to take care of his people, not mans. ------------ About the author: Being a full time writer is the hardest job that I have tried.
