Dec. 31, 2004 Happy New Year to everyone here at the den and I wish the same thing for all that I did on the den. May none of you run out of ideas for stories or poems this year. And should the ink not flow in your pen I wish that you will find a pencil if you have too. Of course I wish for World Peace I guess that is always tops. I wish that everyone will find something to smile about even if it is only for a little while. I wish for more breakthroughs in treatments of disease. Okay here is my sports contribution. This year the Virginia Tech Hokies are playing in one of the bowls. I hope they win but no matter who does that it be a good game. I wish to only live the day that I am in one day at a time. Who am I kidding yeah I would like to win the lottery. But hope the ones that do really need it. I also wish that one of the contributors at the column win a major prize so we can all say we wrote with them. Again I wish it be me but I would feel glad for anyone's success. I wish that the Donald get better hair. Haha I thought that I would see if you were reading. But I guess my biggest wish is that you all be here at the end of 2005 no matter what. Besides arguing on paper is neater than fisticuffs I guess. Here is a wish for you younger writers the ones under eighteen that a few more adults exercise some of the intelligence that you show. I guess I don't feel so bad about the future and that was a good question you asked Jack. Of course I expect great things out of Max Burns and some more of the promising rising stars. What is the definition of shank I tried looking it up in my dictionary but could not find it. But anyway to each their own in their opinion of Brittany Spears. But a lot of us use the bathroom. In fact I had to go to a service station bathroom when a church lady would not get out of the bathroom at church. One of those side affects of cancer treatment but I like you anyway. Red hair always fascinated me. Most of all if we cannot achieve world peace then let us try to achieve as much peace as possible within our ownselves. There is still so much to write about and subjects to approach. With most of them center on domestic issues and cancer treatment but when other things come up I try to write one tiny little opinion as well. ------------ About the author Judy T.
