Harry Potter Fans Have Direct News From The Author

I am a big Harry Potter fan. When MY son was six years old, my husband started reading "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" out loud. I was sitting at my computer, my son was on the couch and my husband sitting on the floor with his deeply soft voice reading the first chapter.

The book was captivating, I found myself not writing and my husband made up different voices. Hagrid had a thick scottish accent and a welsh accent was given to Harry's Best friend Ron. Every night for about a month a chapter was read. (Like we did with all the books we read out loud to my son.}

We have read every book since, out loud, so the whole family can enjoy the words that JK Rowling wrote. We went to the party at Barns and Noble in Sacramento when book Five was released. My son got a free cap at that party and had lots of fun talking ot other Harry Potter fans.

I have found a site that links directly to the author and the author debunks rumors about her beloved books. At, www.jkrowling.com, a person has a link to the author and what is happening in her life concerning her writing.

There are other sites that I have visited, such as the web site for the Warner Bros. movies. Those sites are just as exciting and fun to navigate. JKRowling.com is a way for a person, interested in the writing process, debunking of rumors and most of all the world of Harry Potter to enjoy her world.
