The "Eminem War" [Part 2]

By Eric Schomburg
Dec. 18, 2004

It seems that this ridiculous “Eminem War” is still going on in Useless-Knowledge.com. People have been raving about Megan Williams’ comments about the white rapper and his fans, or as she calls them, “crackheads.” I have never seen such an uproar about someone’s opinion. I read Ms. Williams’ opinion regarding myself, and I politely replied regarding my opinion of her. Then I dropped the subject.

What I find odd is, even though Ms. Williams hasn’t wrote an article since December 15th, there are still people writing column after column about her articles. Did she really make that big of an impact on this website? Is Eminem really that big of a deal to people? This is worse than the election.

It seems that Useless Knowledge is now turning into such, useless knowledge. For instance, take Erica George. She has written 3 columns since December 15th about this situation. One in particular that I found interesting was this:

“Why do these people keep saying nasty things about this famous rapper? I'll give you my opinion, I think it's because they're all hillbillies at they're Windows '95 sitting on their milk crates cranking up some Toby Keith. (For the record I don't have a thing against hillbillies, I grew up in West Virginia)” Then why did you sound so derogatory toward hillbillies? What’s wrong with Toby Keith? Oh crap, does this mean there is going to be a Toby Keith war now?

“If you're wondering yes, I am the one who wrote the earlier article about how he has fans of all age groups.” You don’t say?

“My opinion is that she and the others just diss him because they have no lives so they wake up one day and go: "I think I'll diss a rapper today, maybe Eminem since he has nine million fans worldwide". Somehow I doubt that. You don’t write about something for the hell of it, there’s always a prologue of things to come.

“Personally I feel bad for her students because they have a teacher who writes about rappers that she doesn't have any idea who they really are and fans she's never seen.” Her students aren’t Eminem fans either? Wow. “Instead of maybe tutoring them or working on her lesson. Just because a couple of people may write a couple of stupid things doesn't mean we're all on crack. Come on schoolteacher I'd like to see you reply to this.” I seriously doubt that. Because if she just taught her class Eminem all day, she would be fired. No, you writing a bunch of “stupid” things doesn’t mean you’re on crack. It just means you’re stupid. Not in the sense that you a dumb, but why write something stupid? “Remember kids just say no to crazy schoolteachers who try to brainwash you.” Yeah, just say no to education, God forbid you would have to learn something.

Erica George has also made it known that the Eminem war will never end. Well, you’re just a regular Dwight D. Eisenhower, aren’t you? It’s apparent that Ms. George here is challenging Ms. Megan Williams to respond to her “bashings” and ludicrous comments, not to mention her inapt opinions. Of course Megan Williams has yet to respond to any of Ms. George’s comments, but I hope she stays nice and quiet, because as of right now, I’m believing Ms. Williams regarding some Eminem fans as being incompetent and inefficient.

One other person who calls himself, “A White Guy,” how original. What do you mean, white? We’re Caucasian, you racist punk. It’s a joke, don’t take it seriously. His comments are equivalent to those of Ms. George, only they are a lot shorter and very inapt. Just your basic, “Eminem rules” article that has no basic meaning behind what he’s really wanting to say.

I believe that both Ms. George and “A White Guy” are what I like to call, “Attention Wh*res.” I’m not judging them as people, but it just seems that they are determined to have Ms. Williams come back with something witty to say about them. Call them uneducated or whatnot, but I hope that Ms. Williams has made her point with Eminem and SOME of his fans, not all of them. I for one have no problem with Eminem or his fans, but it seems that two of his so-called fans just can’t seem to end this Eminem dispute and end the whole thing. Are you two bored or something? Play a video game, read a book, watch a movie, if you must, go outside, get some fresh air. Stop wasting space on this website. In the words of Megan Williams.

“We get it, move on!”
