Dec. 3, 2004 Lewis Was an atheist in his youth and he is a Christian by his own words. I will correct myself since I knew the truth. I just did not like a woman who sarcastically called me out for complimenting her work and asking her to clarify how he came to Christ. I found on www.factmonster.com and confirmed in his autobiography the following: He was riding a double-decker bus when he realized that god existed. People do challenge other people. I am proud that other people challenge me daily. And Lewis was challenged by Tolkien. But how a person comes to Christ is a personal decision, there is no way that Tolkien could make Lewis believe in God, only God could do that. ------------ About the author: Being a full time writer is the hardest job that I have tried.
