Aug. 29, 2005 Pardon me if I throw the flag on this Cindy Sheehan business. Number one, the media is treating this like a full scale peace movement, rather than a hundred of so people with no job hanging in Crawford. Number 2 if you do not think this protest doesn't have political overtones, I have some Swift boat documents and Bush National Guard records i want to fax you. Finally, main stream liberal media I have to tell you this and you need to comes to terms with it. Bush won the last election. I am a centrist, I voted for Clinton his last election, do you know why? The other guys did not put up a viable canidiate.(see Bob Dole then see John Kerry). If we pull out of Iraq now, the democrats can say i told you so. but it will be at a terrrrible price. If we instituted the draft we can put more boots on the ground,(the latest liberal criticism) d but we will have instituted the draft.(low whistle) thats some catch that catch 22. Such a paradox. The bottom line is that Casey Sheehan volunteered, he was a soldier and he died for his country, he gave his last full measure.
