Aug. 27, 2005 Ms. Florman, I am sure that you have heard the news by now. The Kalpoe brothers have been REARRESTED. I am too old, and too large to be jumping up and down, but BETH HOLLOWAY TWITTY WAS RIGHT - AGAIN. I am assuming that you are not a parent. Or you might have a different attitude towards this entire thing. And as for her "fundraiser". Go for it. I hope she raises enough money not only to stay in Aruba, as long as is necessary. But she can pay for the absolute best attorney money can buy, and I know that doesn't sound correct. But , when all of this comes to trial, they will not only put "the poor boy, who is langushing in jail" under the jail, but his seedy little friends with him. I have a son, and if he ever did something of this magnitude, I would want him to "pay his dues". As for Joran's Mom, when she was interviewed, she seemed to be in total denial that her precious child could do anything wrong. AND that brings me to another issue. People are absolutely having a fit over Natalee's parents for letting her go to an island without much supervision. What about Joran, he has his own apartment on the family's property? Duh, is this a no brainer? A 17 yr old kid (at that time) with an apartment. What in heaven's name do they think is gonna happen in there? He is gonna practice for the chess championship of the world? It is an established fact, Natalee Holloway should not have gotten in the car with the kid, but she did. But that, like someone else noted, does not give them the right to kill her. I hope Beth Holloway Twitty stays in Aruba as long as necessary, I hope God blesses her with the strength, stamina, and finances to finish going through this. And I also pray the same thing for Natalee's Dad, David. Again, unless you are a parent, and have kids, you will not know the grief this family is experiencing.
