Aug. 26, 2005 To suggest that Cindy Sheehan does not have a valid opinion and rhetorically asking where was she when Osama bin Laden was offered up is asinine and disingenuous. How does that have anything to do with her views on the illegitimacy of the war in Iraq? Cindy has paid the ultimate sacrifice in the loss of a child and for what I ask you? Oh, for the love of democracy, right? America’s torch shines brightly and it is our duty to spread democracy throughout the world. Saddam was a dictator who gassed his own citizens, etc. Well, what about Saudi Arabia, indeed, one of the most oppressive regimes in the Middle East and one from which a majority of the terrorists hail from. Oh, I guess that democracy line doesn’t apply so long as your billions of dollars into business with the Bush family. And that line about a majority of Americans disagreeing with Cindy. Well, hallelujah for that one as we know it is a good thing not to be loved by the world. In fact, most Americans have been too conditioned by the media and powers that be to realize there’s a rat in the mess. All this goes along with the recent Supreme Court ruling concerning private property. Let private enterprise liberate your land for the public good! What, you don’t like that? You see, people buy this pile o’ crap unless it concerns their own pile. And hey, they’re not even sitting on spindle top! Fight the power, Cindy. Most people can’t see beyond their immediate concerns that this war is imperialism under the guise of democracy. Remember, that not all false idols are made of wood. This one flaps in the wind, and she’s bloodthirsty. ------------ About the author: Jimmy Lewis or hyperqube can always be found crunching the numbers one way or the other at the Hyperqube. http://forums.hyperqubes.info With an IQ of 149 its Hard to keep the numbers out of your head.
