Apr. 30, 2005 Right now I feel washed out. Chemo seems to do that. Anyway, so far so good. It's not, however what I want to talk about right now. I just had been thinking...I do that sometimes, I have a book coming out Monday. Wow! I know I at least have one sale: my aunt and uncle in Odin. I hope pretty soon I might see more of the same. It's very exciting, but all the friends I have who have told me they will buy the book when it hits the shelves don't have any problem finding it. I'm also jazzed about the upcoming birth of my grandchildren (hey, yeah! Twins!). My daughter is starting to show and feel the little ones move. They think one might be a girl. I'm thinking both are, but you never know. Anyway, I'm excited. It's getting me through the rough times right now. I don't like feeling like crap. More or less anyway. While the time passes and I envision the chemo doing its work I have some good things to look foreward to. I have had a blast looking at baby things and hoping my book takes off like a shot. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas. I'm sure some out there who know what I mean. Right now I'm fighting off a little fatigue, but what's that? It's Saturday morning and it's time for cartoons. Now, where did I leave my pop tarts? Let's see now, what do I want to watch? Scooby Doo? Batman? Teen Titans?? Wonder what's on the other channels?Gee, a little milk would be good with pop tarts. Hmmmm! Hope I still have some in the fridge. See ya! ------------ About the author: Lee Zelhart is a proud graduate of McKendree College and the author of The Ghost of the Cavalier.
