Apr. 26, 2005 These days you cannot help but catch a glimpse of some piece of news about certain celebrities. Because if you are not looking at one of the entertainment programmes, a news item about the celebrity may show up on the ticker at the bottom of the screen on one of the news channels. Let's take Ben Affleck for instance, who is now being associated with "Alias" star, Jennifer Garner. But after catching the news bit about the couple, I began to recall about him being associated with another celebrity earlier on with the same first name, Jennifer, namely Jennifer Lopez. Some people may not have a problem with this, but how would you feel if you're dating someone and somewhere along the line (if you didn't know it before) you learn that your significant other's previous love has the same first name as you do. Would it make you feel a little discomfort knowing that your new love may be trying to re create what he/she lost when relations with that person ended? Or would you think nothing of it and move along because you were happy before you learned this bit of information? Okay, so say things are going well between you two and are sharing an intimate moment when all of a sudden he/she calls out your name. Would you feel that he/she is really thinking about you or the ex? And how do you know for certain he/she is not thinking about the ex, especially since he/she will strongly deny any hidden agenda with their former love. Of course what matters is how happy you are with the one you're with, but if you are secure enough to know that your love interest has accepted you for who YOU are and is not on some subconscious level thinking about the ex, then that too is what's important.
