George W. Bush, We Need You

Were has George W. Bush gone? I had hoped to see him in there mixing it up with Democrats over his judicial appointments and social security and other things. I know why George isn’t in there fighting for his appointments. It’s that damned Air Force One. Who wants to get tied down with a bunch of [No Nothing Democrats and RINO Republicans.] [Republicans In Name Only.] when they can fly all over the world and have people act like their respected.

Democrats don’t play well when it’s not their ball. Little Harry Reid and even littler Nancy Pelosi have made it known if they can’t make the rules, their not about to play. Those two remind me of two kittens trying to fight with a ball of yarn. Their legislative skills are about as productive.

Harry Reid has agreed to meet with Bill Frist to discuss saving the filibuster. What you need to understand is the filibuster isn’t in any danger. Democrats are trying to use the filibuster where it’s never been used before. In the past judicial appointees have always gotten an up or down vote by the full Senate. That is until Tom Daschle, Harry Reid’s predecessor changed the rules and refused to let their appointments come to the floor. That’s probable why good old Tom was sent packing. He wouldn’t share the ball.

Democrats seem to be in a self-destruct mode. The past four national elections they’ve lost ground. The Red gets Redder and the Blue gets Pink. Why don’t they see the trees through the forest. For the sake of trying to be fair I watch some of those liberal Cable shows. If I were writing dialog for Homer Simpson I couldn’t come up with some of what I hear on CNN and PBS. MSNBC isn’t far behind. Chris Mathews is a real piece of work. Just think there was a time when Mathews carried a gun around the Capital.

If I were the President this is the time to go after the Democrats, their just coming out of hibernation and their a little confused.

Come on George, land that damned Air Force One and go to work.
