Apr. 25, 2005 With papers found to plagiarise anothers work I thought it would be appropriate to show how one can be locate unauthorized use of his/her work using the Internet. The following letter was sent on Monday to Travis D. Breaux, President of the Computer Science Graduate Student Association, elected in September of 2004. Re: Plagiarism of Original Work It has come to my attention that Travis D. Breaux, doctoral student at NC State is promoting my concepts and designs as his independent research. Paper titled: "Information Analysis Using Upper Ontologies" - which he first presented on 6 August 2003 at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, while attending Oregon State University, as well as publishing the work on his NC State site at http://www4.ncsu.edu/~tdbreaux/poster/ in direct breach of my rights under International Copyright Law. Travis D. Breaux has 10 days to include the phrase "The original conception and design of this work was made available by the creative genius of Hans W. Schnauber" on all present and future papers associated with this work. This document is also served on Annie I. Antón, Associate Professor of Software Engineering, North Carolina State University, Computer Science Department, and any and all owners and holders of said such documents, either electronic or hard copy, of this research that was created by Hans W. Schnauber that was originally designed by such copyright owner. Failing this, I will apply for an injunction, and will also seek to recover costs and damages (plus interest) for any and all tortious acts and conduct from those associated with the actions of Travis D. Breaux, including, but not limited to: IBM Thomas J.
