Apr. 23, 2005 I have had enough of this religious dribble. Religion was invented in a time long ago to keep people in line. The holier then thou attitude must stop. You are no better then anyone else. God is a mental attitude not a being. Their is not an old man in the sky just as much as there is not a Santa. They only exist in our hearts. Did you ever wonder why some of us are more religious then others? The ones that are fanatical about religion had something happen so dreadful or hit rock bottom that they grabbed onto religion as a crutch. Yes Jesus was a kid that lived long ago and had good press. No he isn’t coming back. Why would anyone in there right mind come back to people that act the way some of us do. Man wrote the bible. As I said before we wrote it to keep people i n line. If you come up with ten rules that can do this and you get most to follow these rules then you have good among the masses. The men that came up with the bible concept were not dumb men. The covered everything. Killing is wrong, stealing is wrong, adultery is wrong and the others that I wont get into here. Did we really need a God to tell us these rules? These were set forth for those that disregarded rules all together. We have over a billion churches in this country alone. If you strongly believe in God then why not prey in your home why do we need a church to take money from us so we can worship. It is all big business and if you do not agree with what I am saying then take a good look at the catholic religion. They have a whole city in Italy. This was all paid for by donations. God has no use for money, the business of church needs money to make more money. I pray in my own way and need no man woman or child to tell me how to talk to God. God is a force not a man. As we get older we start thinking more about death and thinking there is a heaven where we can bounce on the clouds and do what we love to do best which will ease the painful thoughts of death. The fact remains when you die you die so deal with it. If you do the right thing then let no man tell you that you will go to hell. God = good evil = devil. It is all the brain child of some king losing his control over his countrymen. Face facts, God is a force and please do not write me telling me how evil I am for writing some thoughts down. I write and when a thought pops into my head I jot. I am a jotter downer. These are stories I write, not what I do. If you are thinking of writing me, telling me how evil I am? Well don't or I will put a Italian voodoo spell on your butt so fast you won’t know which way is up. Use the money you donate to keep your local preacher in expensive cars for better use. Feed the hungry or dress the poor. Think before you follow anyone that tells you that you will go to hell in a hand basket if you don’t follow them. God is a forse that will always be there and God doesn’t need no housing, people do.
