Iraq Is A Mess, Says Who?

By Ken Hughes
Apr. 23, 2005

It took eight years of fighting for the Americans to win the Revolution. It took fifteen years to elect the first President. The majority of Americans were against the revolution. There was no [America] to come to the aid of the Colonies. With the exception of the Prussians [Germany who supplied troops to the British] Europeans were willing to sit back and wait. How does this sound familiar?

Different factions of the new Iraqi Government have differing ideas of how to structure their government. The liberal media doesn’t understand why the Americans don’t step in with a solution. The Bush administration has made it very clear. Iraqi politics need Iraqi solutions. America’s job now is to stay in the shadows and eliminate the insurgents. Making sure Iraq has a future with a democratic government.

Joseph Kennedy father of John, Robert, and Teddy was a supporter of the Nazi regime in the late 1930s. FDR recalled him as Ambassador to England in 1939 because of his vocal support for Adolph Hitler. Sixty years later son Teddy is supportive of every despot in the world, or perhaps he’s just Anti-American.

I know the drill. If your not for the administration your Anti-American. No if you’re not for America your Anti-American. Liberals have the right to say what they think, surprisingly so do conservatives. But that’s not what liberal believe. Liberals believe only their thoughts are worthy of being expressed. Anything else is pure nonsense.

To see how successful the new Iraqi government has been all we need do is look at the Democrats in congress and see how obstructive they’re being. I see much more progress in the Iraqi congress than in ours here at home. Politics is new to Iraqi’s their entitled to a few miss steps. What’s congress excuse?

The Voters have come of age, the media is reluctantly following, and God willing congress will get the message and follow.
