Apr. 22, 2005 The state of Iowa has just recently announced the need to revise the laws concerning "Second-Time" sex offenders in Iowa. They feel there may be a need to take a closer look at the laws to try and protect our children from the creatures that attack them visciously. The democratic party however, feels that there is simply not enough time left in their "busy" schedule this round to really look at this issue. Now that scares the hell out of me! The recent abduction, Rape and murder of a little 10 year old girl by a SECOND-TIME sex offender has sparked this action. Little Jetseta, who was kidnapped by a family aquaintence, was taken to an abandoned mobile home and visciously raped and murdered. Her body was left there by her killer. Roger P. Bentley, a 37 year old creature {I refuse to call these things human} was charged with her rape and murder. He had a long list of problems and was already registered as a sex offender in the state of Iowa sex offenders registery. He took this little girl without even being concerned that her little brother watched her getting into his truck. Yesssss... I have already been where you are. What the hell was a sex offender doing being an aquaintence of anybody???!!!!!! And for certain, why was he allowed to be anywhere near anyones children???? What were the parents thinking???!! This brings me back to the issue at hand. Why was he free in the first place? Did he get cured by some miracle? Did they cut his penis off along with his hands and feet and anything else he might have used to rape a child with?!!! Now Iowa decides that they might want to lay down stricter penalties for "Second-Time" offenders! What is wrong with this picture? Sure, they want to make it a capital crime punishable by death now. Why second-time offneders??/ Do we really have to give these freaks a second shot at our children before it is considered a bad thing!!!????? The first time they raped a little girl or boy isn't bad enough to sentance them to death?!?! Let's ask her parents or maybe her Grandmother, who stood at Jetseta's little grave, holding the little girls ragged teddy bear in her arms!! Let's ask the other thousands of families that have lost little loved ones to this very act of horrible actions if they think that a KNOWN sex offender should be freed to walk amongst our children again. They might sing a different song then our law-makers have sung concerning this atrocity! Two things actually bother and scare me about this issue. The first of course is in knowing that the "system" still sees fit to let these freaks go free after what THEY deem a fair sentance. Why would we ever ever want to free someone that has harmed a child in this way??? The second thing that scares the hell right out of me is that THEY don't think there is time enough this session to look at the issue! Was there time in the past 100 years to ahve looked at this issue? Were they all so busy that they never found it important enough to set into law a means to protect our children??? We found time to vote in a new speed limit. They were able to slip a few days in to discuss matters of GREATTTTT importance like a new zoning law or a new tax on cigerettes! Damn, i am sorry that the rape of little boys and girls fell short on their "List of things to do." Not enough time??? Hmmmm??? Well there was enough time for Bentley to take this little girl, rape her little body and then kill her. Surely in that time it would have been easy enough to have passed a law saying FIRST-TIME child rapists would never be free. Time to say, if you harm our children, we WILL put you to death!!!! If during the law-makers "time off" another little girl is raped and killed then maybe we need to make sure that these creatures are close enough to these "busy" men and women delaying the talks to see them every morning on their way out the door. Will they look back at their door, thinkong about their children inside the house??? Will it scare them just a little to know that there is a sex offender standing in his front yard looking at the law-makers house??!!!! Come on people. wake up!!! This is a no-brainer! Write the law that says "If you cause harm to any little girl or boy...evennnnn once!!!! we are going to slip a needle in your arm and watch you die. Dying less painfully then your little victim died... but none the less, DEAD! LAw- makers...Find the time!!! Make this happen!! Get these creatures off our streets and out of our neighborhood!!!!! They can NOTTTTT, i repeat, can NOTTTT be rehabilitated!!!! So why waste good food that some hungry little child could be eating on some non-human freak!!?? Do it now, not later or the next little girl that dies is going to put blood on your hands!!! I think that our children's lives are important enough to warrant a little longer session and the placing of a law that will keep these freaks inside of a prison and off our streets!! Lets do it for all the Jetseta's of the world!!! Don't let another innocent child die because our laws failed them!!!!
