Apr. 19, 2005 Not long ago I wrote about the Bible as a guide book. No brainer there. For a lot of people it is. For some, and notice I said some, liberals it is a major annoyance. Some liberals go so far as start foaming at the mouth when things like the Bible and the Bill of Rights are mentioned. I have been called a closed minded(expletive deleted)by one such. Why? Who knows. You can't reason with some people; although I try. Liberals brand everyone who doesn't agree with them as ignorant hayseeds. I would venture to say sometimes even worse things come to mind. Why can't they understand everyone has a right to their own opinion without name calling? Again, I can't explain it. Look, I try not to argue with others. It's counter productive. It's negative. It's bigoted. I don't judge others and see no reason why libs do. Maybe it's a power trip. I'm also not trying to stir the pot. I realize religion is a taboo topic for some. Libs don't seem to have a sense of humor about some things. I guess it's just the way they are. Can a liberal be healthy if they get so wound up and emotional? Not likely. Look guys...foaming and frothing at the mouth is stressful. It just hurts the body and mind and leads to bad things being done to the body. Of course I realize this is just going to stir up some anger among the left. I don't want to cause hard feelings, but I think the problem needs addressed. Lighten up! Smile! Chill out a little. Would it kill some libs to listen to the other side without getting bent out of shape? Who knows? It marks a person who can't discuss a topic without name calling. It marks them as a liberal in my book.
