Apr. 3, 2005 I sit here a read all of these articles written by some very good writers. I think about what each one has said and then ponder their reasons. None of them all wrong and none of them all right, I slowly start to realize something. Some are chanting about Terri Schiavo’s cruel death while others talk about the evils of Rap music. There are a few that quote scriptures while sombody else is showing us the evry deep research they have done to prove or disprove some belief. We can even toss in a couple of articles on weight loss and the how the wages of sin are death. Not a single one of the articles is not read worthy. They all have something to say. So what is it that I have to say??? Well really only this. The freedom to do what we are doing here is something we must never ever take for granted. It is because each of us have our own thoughts and interpitation of the world around us, that we are able to teach and learn so much. As long as we can listen with an open mind and respond with that same open mindedness, we stand a chance of surviving. Cultures that have refused to be open to new things and turned away anothers ideas have caused their own downfalls. From the Aztecs to the People of Etheopia to our very own people... the closing of ones mind to other options, other opinions will sooner or later bring that civilization to their knees. So what am I rattleing about then? Nothing really except to say that taking the time to at least listen to anothers thoughts will not hurt anyone. No one here is going to look you up and force their thoughts down your throat. They are doing just what I am doing right now. They are simply sharing their thoughts. I enjoy reading these articles and I enjoy even more the things I have learned here in Useless-Knowledge.
