Comparing Prices For Prescription Drugs At Local Pharmacies

By Useless Knowledge Reviews

Ever wish you could compare prices for prescription drugs from your local pharmacies without spending all day on the phone or driving around? I found this new site called Local Drug Search that let’s you do just that. All you do is enter your zip code, then choose between 10 and 100 miles from where you are. Next, enter the drug name and the dosage. Hit the search button and away you go.

I did a search for an Amoxicillin and it gave me a nice comparison from a bunch of different companies. Target, Wal-Mart, and Sam's Club were the cheapest at $0.11 per unit, while Walgreens came in at $0.13 per unit followed by K-mart at $0.17 per unit. It gives the location that is closest and the details of the prescription. Pretty cool.

With the economy the way it is, why not compare and save money? Every little bit adds up. This site makes it really easy to save. Check it out and save up to 90% off prescriptions at the pharmacies you trust.
