Oct. 20, 2010 More and more media are attempting to fathom the Tea Party movement. Some say they are a throwback to the Ludite machine wreakers, some explain them away as just another form of right wing wackiness. The oddest comparison I have come across is that put forward by Lee Siegel in an essay in The New York Times Book Review where he compares them to the Beat Generation. The Beats, he reasons were looking for freedom from all social constraints rejecting all political movements. So too, he reasons does the Tea Party movement. He cites various run ins with the Republican party as proof that it is not just an anti liberal organization but a type of subversive spirituality not conducive to good government, impractical and in fact a danger to society. The CCP also portrays its nemesis the Falon Gong in the same way. The Falon Gong is an age old system where persons gain spiritual partnership with their surroundings through a series of exercise and meditation. The CCP out rightly rejects any organization that styles itself as being the purveyor of social harmony, an area, in their view, belonging to them. Has not too the Tea Party movement intruded into a space long held sacrosanct by the media and their liberal political allies? since at the time signalling the end of the Beat Generation and the beginning of the Hippies that came about during the Woodstock era? An ominous parallel between the two has emerged in all western societies where a type of political correctness has been written into law where say any one who questions the sanity of homosexuals or the correlation between crime,race and immigration is immediatly thrown into jail. No one in China can set up an organization hostile to the CCP, just as in the west, due to clever political and legal manipulation; no one can question the liberal media political conglomerate. In the case of the former they, the CCP, are at least honest. They put it into law. In the west opposition to the media backed anarchy has to be subtle and ephemeral as one never knows how they, the media backed liberal political systems, will react. Those having a position not in line with theirs can be labelled with a series of slurs ranging from bigotry going on thorough the spectrum of racism, homophobia, global warming denier, fascist and a host of others (which should be put in a special dictionary in order to warn the unwary).And now, according to Siegel, a Tea Partier can now be accused of degeneracy as they are akin to the beats, being in fact an offshoot. You can fool some of the people some of the time but not all of the people all of the time. All over the west people are beginning to see how they have had the wool pulled over their eyes, by the dysfunctional Hollywood backed politico media establishment, into thinking they are somehow responsible for the ills of the world and must now pay their dues be it through a revision of history, the demand that they allow drug fuelled violence rage through their societies, that their children be under the influence of those preaching sexual morality counter to the natural order of the universe, that societies holding grievances against the west, mostly fuelled by a jealousy stretching back for hundreds of years, not only be allowed access into the west, but to also be allowed to set up organizations within the west dedicated to the overthrow of democracy.
The Falon Gong, is an organization now defined by their political masters as a dangerous subversive movement and so illegal. If the Hollywood backed media crowd could have their way I think that so too would be the Tea Party movement; probably a hard thing to do for by taking a page out of Maos little Red Book they, The Tea Partiers, 'are now are like the fish in the sea' or, looked at in another way, like a ghost, ephemeral and hard to define. How can you fight something you can’t see?
